I'm running VMWare Fusion 6.0.1 on Mac OS X 10.8/10.9. I'm trying to install CentOS 6.4 minimal as a guest OS so I can have a linux install to play around with. The installation seems to go just fine and after the basic installation/reboot, it freezes at :Vmware Fusion Centos
Press any key to enter the menuCentos vmware appliance
Booting CentOS (2.6.32-358.e.l6.i686) in 0 seconds...
Fusion
I thought maybe there would be some incompatibility so I found a CentOS 6.3 minimal iso but get the same result. I've tried:
Vmware fusion centos install vmware tools- Changing Virtual Disk from SCSI to IDE

Vmware Fusion Centos Install Vmware Tools

- Doing a net installation (I end up with the same kernel version)

Vmware Fusion Centos Copy Paste

- Changing Hardware compatibility in VMWare (used new and older hardware profiles)

Vmware Fusion Centos Shared Folders

Vmware Fusion Centos

I can install Windows and Ubuntu/Xubuntu just fine.
